POSITION REQUIREMENTS
 

St. Joseph's has an opportunity for a full time PV Tech to join our team. Will provide primarily Ultrasound Vascular Imaging as well as abdominal if credentialed but not required. Presents cases to radiologists and residents. Teach and assist in the cross-training of to enhance the ultrasound's sections' flexibility. Must be computer orientated in PACS RIS, and RCO.

Performs as a resource person in vascular Ultrasound. Can perform all levels of vascular procedures. Assumes role of lead Sonographer when required. Also assists with schedules and provides input to peer performance evaluations. Assists in equipment evaluations and department protocols. Liaison for vascular ultrasound inter-departmental procedures. Assist with teaching of students and medical radiology residents.

Completion of an American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonongraphy (ARDMS) approved ultrasound program with vascular certification.

VASCULAR BOARD CERTIFIED.

Two years ultrasound experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform procedures within the certification in an independent manner. Minimum CEU 30 biannually.
